I don’t crochet, but if I did I would definitely want to learn how to make something like this. It is really amazing! The toast is even removable.

This concept gadget is part of a set, The Brunch collection from Dutch designer Ivo Vos. Another featured concept is the vise that holds and measures your bread while you cut. And there’s a place mat that tells you exactly where to put the plate and cutlery. None of the other can hold a candle to the Trebuchet Toaster.

Transparent Toaster – Concept

This transparent toaster allows you to see the bread while it is toasting so you’re never surprised by toast that comes out too dark. This idea is based on a transparent heating glass technology. Although the glass does not currently get hot enough to toast bread, the vendor explained with some R&D this application may be possible. The concept was developed by the Inventables Concept Studio.

Michael Jackson’s face ‘appears on toast’

Michael Jackson fans have come up with a novel form of memorabilia to mark the singer’s acquittal on child abuse charges – toast with his face on it.

Slices of toast with the star’s likeness and slogans such as “not guilty” have appeared on internet auction site eBay.

Vendors claimed the slices were not faked – but popped out of their toasters before or during the verdicts.

Toast said to look like the Virgin Mary sold for $28,000 (£15,400) last year.

There was a little problem at lift off (something broke during installation) but a fun, new sculpture with a 14-foot wingspan, the Aer O Toaster , can now be seen inside the terminal at Spokane International Airport.
